Though he’s eligible for admission into BMU, his chances of admission into medicine or pharmacy are quite low due to the score. Those are two of BMU’s most competitive courses.

The pre medical foundation is just like predegree, preparing you for admission into the medical courses, while the science foundation prepares you for admission into science courses. You need a minimum of 5 credits at o’level in a maximum of two sittings to gain admission into the Bayelsa Medical University foundation program.

A person very good in biology and chemistry is suitable for Medicine, Dentistry, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Physiology. These courses require a knowledge of physics only in first year.
