The body responsible for accreditation of colleges of health in Nigeria is the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). Though, the “Health Records Officers Regulation Board of Nigeria” (HRORBN) play a great role as well in regulating the profession.

That’s because accreditation changes. Sometimes, colleges gain accreditation this year and loose it next year or in two years for different reasons. So it’s not often constant with some colleges.
