– Therefore, the scholarship is taken at Berea College, USA.

– Applicants are required to apply to Berea college for admission. The scholarship and course application go together under the International Application for Admission and Scholarship Packet program.

– All international students at Berea College are provided with a paid job throughout the academic year. Students may use their wages (about US $2,000 the first year) to cover personal expenses.

– This full tuition scholarship is awarded toward studying an undergraduate course at Berea College.

How to apply

Application to Berea College is free.

However, bear in mind that admission to Berea College is competitive. And, you will need to meet certain entry requirements to be considered.

The following items are in the Berea College Admission and Scholarship packet, and must be mailed together to the Admissions Office:

1. International Application for Admission and Scholarship form.
2. International Personal Essay and Essay Cover Sheet.
3. Copy of official secondary school records. Do not send originals.
4. Personal Statement of Financial Circumstances.
5. International Financial Questionnaire (IFQ).
6. International Financial Recommendation Form.
7. Two (2) Admission Recommendation forms, at least one of which should be written by a current or former teacher.
8. Copy of official scores from at least one of the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS, ACT or SAT. You should register and take the test early in order include a copy of your scores in your packet and to meet the deadline.

When will I get a decision on my application?

Applications usually receive update from Berea College about their admission by January. However, final admission decisions are made available latest 30 April.
