These scholarships are part of The University of Manchester scholarship scheme for international students.
Can I know more about the global futures scholarship for undergraduates?
i. The global futures scholarship is provided by The University of Manchester, UK.
ii. Each year, The University of Manchester award these scholarships to incoming international undergraduate students.
iii. A total of ten (10) A-level and IB scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence.

What’s the value of this award?
A global futures scholarship is worth £5,000 for the first year of study with a further £5,000 awarded in the second year of study.
To receive funding in your second, you must have attained a 60% average in your first year at The University of Manchester, UK.
How long can I hold these scholarships?
The award is primarily for first year, however you can also retain the scholarship for your second year if you reach at least 60% average in year one.

Which undergraduate courses can I study through this scholarship?
Applicants who want to study Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), or Architecture are not eligible for this global futures scholarship.
You can study any other undergraduate course offered by The University of Manchester, aside the ones mentioned above, for this scholarship.

Who can apply?
To apply for a global futures scholarship to study at Manchester UK, you must:
1. Have or be working towards either your A-levels or the IB Diploma qualification.
2. Apply to study an undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester. Don’t select any of the courses mentioned above that are not qualified for this scholarship.
3. Have selected The University of Manchester as your firm or insurance UCAS choice by 10 June 2021. See how to apply to a UK university.
4. Have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time programme at Manchester for September 2021 entry.

How do I apply for this scholarship?
You must submit an online scholarship application form before the deadline.
The global futures scholarship application form will be emailed to relevant University of Manchester admission offer-holders from the eligible countries.
When is the deadline?
You must complete the scholarship application form latest 20th May, 2021.
When will I know the outcome of my application?
These scholarships will be awarded by The University of Manchester following the confirmation of IB and A-level results in July and August 2021. For more information, please refer to their website.
