The IsDB fully funded scholarship is available for Master’s study beginning from 2021/2022 academic year.

One of the objectives of this scholarship program, as stated by IsDB, is to increase access to educational opportunities available under the IsDB initiatives in human capital development.

What’s the value of this award?

IsDB fully funded scholarship for master’s cover:

  • Monthly stipend that conform with the cost of your country of study.
  • Tuition fees as charged by your university and approved by the IsDB.
  • Cost of medical treatment at university/government/public hospitals.
  • Economy class return air tickets (once at the time of starting and on completion of study) and installation allowance for the students selected to study abroad at partnered universities/countries.
  • Thesis preparation Allowance.

Can I know more about this scholarship?

i. This scholarship is funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).

ii. Applicants for this scholarship should plan to commence their master’s study in their country of choice from 2021/2022 academic year.

iii. This award is given every year to deserving international students to study for a master’s degree.

Which Nationalities are eligible?

This masters scholarship is open to citizens of ISDB member-countries or Muslim communities in non-member countries.

Who can apply?

To be considered for this IsDB fully funded scholarship for master’s study, you must:

1. Be a high academic achieving student.

2. Be a mid-career professional from member countries and Muslim Communities in non-member countries. Candidates from non-member countries must be a Muslim.

3. Have a minimum of 70% in your Bachelor degree GPA.

4. Chose one of the eligible programs listed above.

5. Provide certified English or French translation of all documents in case they are written in other languages.

6. Provide evidence of language proficiency for university. The language proficiency must be supported by a document or certificate, e.g. TOEFL, IELTS or other certificate if you are studying in English (OR equivalent system in French or other languages).

7. Not be in receipt of any other scholarship at the time of applying and during study on this scholarship.

8. Be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.
