This scholarship is provided by the NNPC in collaboration with Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria. And its targeted at undergraduate students in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Both students in universities and polytechnics can apply for this scholarship.
How much is this scholarship worth?
Not specified. Though the scholarship is paid every year throughout your stay in school.
And if you’re in the polytechnic, it means you will receive this scholarship for two years only.

The scholarship is open to study any course at a polytechnic or university in Nigeria.
Which Nationalities are eligible?
This award is open to citizens and residents of Nigeria.
Who can apply?
To become eligible for the NNPC/Addax scholarship you must:
1. be a full-time student in a polytechnic or university.
2. be in 100 level (first year/ND 1) at the time of applying for the scholarship.
What this mean is you must have gotten admission into school during the 2020/2021 academic year.
3. Be an indigene of Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited (APDNL) Host Communities in Akwa Ibo, Imo, and Rivers states.

You are to apply for this scholarship online. To help you prepare a complete application, here are the documents you will need to apply.
- WAEC/NECO Certificate
- JAMB Result
- Admission Letter
- School ID Card
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government of Origin Certificate and
- Passport (white background)
