NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV scholarship 2024/25

Applications for NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture scholarships are now open for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 entry.

So if you already enrolled at any Nigerian school, you are eligible. More details of the scholarship can be found below.

The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO scholarship is awarded in two categories each year:

A. Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For applicants strictly from NAOC Host/Transit Communities

This one is for indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo State. So you should apply for this category if you are from any of the mentioned states.

National Merit Award – For applicants from Non-Host/Transit Communities. You should apply for this category if you are not from any of states above.

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship provides a one-time payment of Two Hundred Thousand naira (₦200,000) made to the scholarship recipient. You can use the scholarship amount to pay your tuition and other school expenses at any school.

Who can apply?

To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a registered full-time student at a Nigerian tertiary institution.
  • Be a current 100-level student at the time of applying for the scholarship.
  • Applicants from those host community states studying any course are eligible to apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
  • Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.

How to apply

To help you submit a complete application, below are the documents required for this scholarship application.

  • School ID Card
  • Admission Letter
  • JAMB Result
  • O’level Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Local Government of Origin
  • Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award)
  • Letter from CDC Chairman (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award).
  • Passport photograph with white background not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
  • NAOC Compliance Declaration Form
  • NIN (not compulsory to complete the application)

Then complete the application form through the NAOC Scholarship Application portal.

Deadline

The closing date to apply for this NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV scholarship is Sunday 30 June, 2024.
