Applications are now open for NNPC/SEPLAT scholarship for Nigerian students. These scholarships are for the 2025/2026 academic year.
If you are an undergraduate student studying at a Nigerian university, you may be eligible for an award.

Only students who are studying the following courses that are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Accountancy
- Agriculture
- Business Administration
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Geology
- Geophysics
- Law
- Mass Communication
- Mechanical Engineering
- Medicine and Surgery
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Ophthalmology
- Optometry
- Petroleum Engineering
So if your course is not among the above-listed courses, you do not qualify to apply. Your application will not be accepted.
Scholarship package
The scholarship is paid for the entire duration of your undergraduate course.
Scholarship criteria
To be eligible to apply for this NNPC/SEPLAT scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a student of a federal or state university.
2. Be in year 2 (200 level) and above.
3. Have a CGPA of 3.5 and above
4. Have at least 5 credits in SSCE at one sitting. The credits should include English and Mathematics.
How to apply
Please complete your application for the scholarship online through their portal:
- register.seplatscholarship.com
- Fill your personal details
- Enter your school information
- Your academic details
- And submit
If you are shortlisted, you will be notified through the email that you used to apply.
Deadline
The application window for the scholarship is April 7th, 2025 – April 21st, 2025. Make sure you submit your application during this time to avoid being disqualified.
