The duration of the basic general nursing programme is three (3) years, and it starts in October, 2021.
To qualify for admission into the basic general nursing course, you must:
- Not be less than 16 years old.
- Have at least five (5) credits at o’level in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
How much is the application fee?
Application fee for basic general nursing is Eight Thousand Naira (₦8,000) only.
When is sale of form closing?
The closing date to apply for OAUTH basic general nursing course is Tuesday 17th August, 2021.
When is the entrance exam?
Entrance exam holds on Tuesday 24th – Wednesday 25th August, 2021 at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife.

2. Post Basic General Nursing programme
The duration of the post basic general nursing programme is eighteen (18) months, and it starts in April, 2022.
To qualify for admission into the post basic general nursing course, you must:
- Have at least five (5) credits at o’level in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
How much is the application fee?
Application fee for basic general nursing is Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only.
When is sale of form closing?
The closing date to apply for OAUTH post basic general nursing course is Tuesday 29th July, 2021.
When is the entrance exam?
Entrance exam holds on Tuesday 3rd August, 2021 at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife.
Oral interview holds on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th August, 2021.

3. Post Basic Midwifery programme
The duration of the post basic midwifery programme is eighteen (18) months, and it starts in September, 2021.
To qualify for admission into the post basic midwifery course, you must:
- Have at least five (5) credits at o’level in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
How much is the application fee?
Application fee for Post Basic Midwifery programme is Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only.

The closing date to apply for OAUTH post basic midwifery course is Tuesday 29th July, 2021.
When is the entrance exam?

- Have at least five (5) credits at o’level in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Application fee for basic general nursing is Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only.

The closing date to apply for OAUTH basic general nursing course is Thursday 22nd July, 2021.
When is the entrance exam?
