As the 2021/2022 admission exercise kicks off, we take a look at post utme cut off mark of various universities.

I know you’re eager to know the post utme cut off mark of your first choice university. That’s why you’re on this page. Because of that, I decided to compile the cut off mark of all universities in Nigeria.

Bear in mind that JAMB allowed universities to determine their own cut off mark for admitting students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The cut off mark makes you eligible for the post utme so that you’ll have a chance of admission.

For better understanding on admission into school, see my post on 2022/2023 admission into Nigerian universities: 6 things to expect.

By the way, what is post utme cut off mark?

That’s not so simple, is it?

We learn everyday. I have met candidates who asked me what post utme cut off mark really was. So, I decided to shed more light on it here.

Post utme cut off mark is simply a JAMB score that qualifies you to write post utme. Therefore, it doesn’t guarantee admission, it simply make you become eligible to write the university post utme.

However, your JAMB score is vital to your admission chances. So, universities set cut off mark targeting particular candidates.

For example, if Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro set it’s post utme cut off mark at 150, it simply means only candidates who scored 150 and above are ‘qualified’ to write the post utme. Candidates who scored 149 and below are not invited.

But then, not all candidates who made Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro their first choice and scored 150 and above will get admission.

That’s what post utme cut off mark is.

Hopefully, this is clear.
