Applications are now open for 2023/2024 Said Foundation Scholarship to study for masters degree in the UK. The scholarship is awarded toward a postgraduate degree only.
The scholarship is provided by the Said Foundation, and is awarded annually.
So even if you’re unable to have a complete application criteria in a given application window, you can prepare ahead of the following year.
Scholarship Package
Said foundation scholarship is fully funded and covers the full cost of studying a postgraduate degree in UK.
Which programs does the scholarship cover?
The Said Foundation primarily offer scholarships for one-year postgraduate study in the UK.
Some times, it may be possible to consider candidates for two-year masters courses or two-year distance learning programmes. In this instance, you must provide a detailed explanation of your choice in your scholarship application form.
There are no restrictions on academic field to apply for this scholarship. But according to the foundation, you must demonstrate that your course will enable you to contribute to the development of your country.
Who can apply?
To become eligible for Said Foundation scholarship to study a postgraduate degree in UK you must:
1. hold an undergraduate degree that is equivalent to a UK 2.1 degree (Second Class Upper) or higher.
You may also be considered if you are currently in final year of your undergraduate degree.
2. have worked and/or gained voluntary experience that is relevant to your field of study.
3. have a clear career path and willing to return to your country or region once you complete your studies in UK.
4. demonstrate leadership potential in your chosen field.
5. have applied for an eligible course at a Said Foundation partner UK university (or have legitimate exceptional reasons for applying to a non-partner university).
6. meet the English language requirements (IELTS of 6.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each band).
How about nationality?
Said Foundation scholarship is open to citizens (and resident) in the following countries:
- Jordan
- Lebanon
- Syria
- Palestine
How to apply for the scholarship
To help you prepare a complete application for this scholarship, ready the following documents.
i. high school certificate
ii. university transcript
iii. national id card or passport
iv. English language test score or confirmation of your English language test date
v. Offer letter from your chosen UK university for masters degree.
vi. Three (3) reference letters
vii. Copy of your CV
