This scholarship is available for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level.

Turkey government scholarship is fully funded. The award covers the following costs:
- tuition fee;
- accommodation;
- health insurance;
- financial support and
- also provide university placement and academic, social and cultural facilities to recipients of the scholarship at all academic levels.

i. This scholarship is provided by the government of Turkey through Türkiye Scholarships program.
ii. Its a competitive scholarship, awarded to international students and researchers to pursue full-time or short-term program at top universities in Turkey.
iii. Türkiye Scholarships are awarded every year to deserving students from all over the world.
iv. The scholarship is open for international students who want to study at undergraduate or postgraduate (Masters, doctoral) level.

Which nationalities are eligible?
Turkey government scholarship is open to students from any country outside Turkey.
Who can apply?
To be considered for a Turkey government scholarship, confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria below.
Academic criteria
1. The minimum academic achievement for Bachelor’s degree applicants: 70%.
2. The minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctorate degree applicants: 75%.
3. The minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) applicants: 90%.

Age criteria
1. Be under 21 years for Undergraduate level.
2. Be under 30 years for Masters level.
3. Be under 35 years for doctoral level.

Other criteria
1. Be from any country;
2. Have graduated from school OR be able to graduate at the end of the current academic year (before August 2021).
3. Researchers and academicians are also eligible.
Note: Students already registered in Turkish universities at the level of study they are applying for are not eligible for this scholarship.
How do I apply?
Below are the required documents to apply for Turkey government scholarship:
1. A valid National Identification Document OR a valid Passport;
2. A recent Photo of you (Please note that the photo you upload into the Turkey government scholarship application system must be a proper photo of yourself).
Uploading a photo that is not clear could undermine evaluation of your application.
3. National exam scores (required if you do not possess any international qualification or certification);
4. Diploma or temporary certificate of Graduation;
5. Academic transcripts;
Online screenshots and uncertified transcripts will undermine the evaluation of your application.
6. International exam scores (GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YÖS, etc. if required by your chosen university and course);
7. Language test scores (if required by your chosen university and course);
8. A research proposal and an example of your written work (for PhD applicants only).

When is the deadline?
Application for Turkey government scholarship must be submitted online not later than 20 February, 2021.
