But then, not many Nigerian universities offer pharmacy. That’s because not all universities are accredited to run the pharmacy program.

The study of pharmacy leads to the award of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm.). Though the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) has upgraded that.

So it now leads to the award of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (D.Pharm.). Though some universities that run pharmacy still award B.Pharm.
