Flywire scholarship is an annual award offered by Flywire Charitable Foundation. These scholarships are available to international students to study at Canadian institutions.
The scholarship application for the 2022 academic year is now open.
What’s on offer?
The scholarship provides $5,000 each to successful candidates.
How many: A total of eight (8) scholarships will be awarded.
Who can apply?
Flywire charitable foundation scholarships are open to:
i. Undergraduate & Graduate students worldwide.
ii. Matriculating and currently enrolled students can also apply.
iii. All study areas are eligible.
iv. Each student can only apply to one of the four scholarship categories below
- Social justice
- Global health
- Global citizenship
- Environmental sustainability
How to apply
Before starting an application, its important to know that submitting an essay is part of the process of applying for this scholarship.
Here is the guideline for writing the essay.
Essays should be:
- one-page typed (12-point standard style font, 1-inch margins) in PDF format.
- All applications must be submitted in English.
Essay Prompt:
The scholarship provider requires that you provide clear answers to the following questions in your essay:
1. About yourself: what are you studying and at what school?
2. What hurdles have you had to overcome to pursue your studies?
3. What do you hope to achieve with your education and how does it relate to the theme of the scholarship you have selected?

Application for this scholarship closes on Friday June 17th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST / Saturday June 18th 3:59 PM GMT.
