Application is invited from interested applicants for the Government of Ireland scholarships. These scholarships are awarded each year.
The scholarship application portal is now open for 2023.
Bear in mind, however, that the scholarship is fully funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) of Ireland. It is aimed at international students who wish to study at Irish universities.
How many: 60 scholarships will be provided for one year study of Masters or PhD to successful candidates who have been offered admission to study at Irish institutions.
Scholarship package
The scholarship will provide the following fund to successful candidates.
- A €10,000 stipend for one year’s study
- A full fee waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution
Who can apply?
To be eligible for this scholarship, you should meet the following criteria.
1. apply to study a Master’s degree or PhD at any Higher Education Institution in Ireland.
2. have an offer of admission.
3. be from a non-EU/EEA country
The scholarship is applicable to all fields of study.

The closing date for submission of applications for the Government of Ireland Scholarships is 24 March 2023.
