- Diploma in Broadcast Journalism and
- Diploma in Film and Television Production.
- Diploma in Television Engineering Technology.
What is the duration of study?
All three courses lasts for two academic session (4 semesters).
What are NTA college diploma entry requirements 2022/2023?
1. To qualify for admission into the Diploma in Television Engineering Technology, you must have at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at a maximum of two (2) sittings.
2. To qualify for admission into the Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, or Diploma in Film and Television Production you must have at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects out of Literature in English, CRS/IRK, Government, Economics, Agricultural Science, Commerce, or Biology at a maximum of two (2) sittings.
What programs are open for application now?
As mentioned earlier, there are many courses offered at NTA college but only the following courses are available for admission in this 2022/2023 session.
- Diploma in Broadcast Journalism.
- Diploma in Film Television and Production.
- Diploma in Television Engineering Technology.
How to apply for NTA college diploma
Application for NTA college diploma courses is entirely online. Meanwhile, NTA college application form is ₦7,500 (seven thousand five hundred naira only).
Please follow the procedure below to apply:
Log on to https://ntatvc.edu.ng/forms/signup
Once it opens, enter your names, gender, marital status, email address, and enter a password of your choice.
Click ‘signup’ to access the application page.
Generate the Remita (RRR) payment invoice to pay your application fee.
Once complete, fill the online application form.
Make sure you submit your application on the website and print out a slip.

First, what is NTA television college all about?
What is important to know is that NTA college is an offshoot of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). Therefore, it’s a specialized college dedicated to training excellent personnel in media and broadcasting.
So if you are interested in media and all those broadcasting stuff, NTA television college may just be right for you.
Moreover, finishing from the college makes it easier for you to get employment at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) or other leading media organizations.
I have put together a brief history of NTA college
NTA television college was established in September 1980 initially with goal of running short courses. However, as the years pass, it started running full-time diploma courses.
So, at the start, NTA television college started with four courses namely;
- Television Production.
- Television Engineering.
- Television Design, and
- Television Journalism.
But as the years roll by, there was a need for the college to award degrees, particularly to meet up with current demands of the media industry.
To get this working, the management then sealed affiliation deals with a university and today, NTA television college is affiliated to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
The best part is that this deal qualifies the college to award degrees in selected courses.

What are the entry requirements into NTA college?
Don’t worry, the requirements are not scary.
To be admitted into NTA college, you need to have at least five (5) credits at O’level in relevant subjects. This should include English Language, and obtained at a maximum of two (2) sittings.

There is no general school fees at NTA college. Because, school fees vary by courses.

How come the closing date for sale of forms was shifted from November 1st to 15th without proper notification of the public, most of us couldn’t catch up with the November 1st date, if only we were notified we could have purchased it before the 15th

No exam has been written for diploma candidates. The deadline for the form is 15 November, 2020. This deadline could be extended.
