These scholarships are awarded under the President’s Postgraduate Scholarship scheme and College of Science and Engineering Scholarship scheme at University of Leicester, United Kingdom.

Value of the President’s Postgraduate Scholarship
This scholarship is worth £3,000 in the form of reduction in tuition fees.
Value of the College of Science and Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship is worth up to £5,600 per year of full time study.
Depending on your results you could be awarded between £3,000 and £6,000 per year of study at Leicester.
According to the university, students who satisfy the standard entrance criteria for their course will receive an award equivalent to 22% of their annual tuition fee.
Students achieving the higher level grades listed below will receive the higher level award of 28%.

What you should know about these postgraduate scholarships

– These postgraduate scholarships in UK are sponsored by the University of Leicester, UK. Therefore, the scholarship is to be taken at the University of Leicester.
– You cannot combine these scholarships with a full scholarship from any other source. However, you may be able to hold any other partial scholarship.
Which postgraduate programs are covered?
All postgraduate courses at University of Leicester are covered by this scholarship.
Though, this scholarship is not available for distance learning courses.
Who can apply for these scholarships?
To qualify as a candidate for these postgraduate scholarships in UK, you must:
- be an international (that is, non-EU) student for the purpose of fees payment.
- have an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study for a full-time, taught, campus-based Masters course starting in January, 2021.

However, to qualify for the Science and Engineering scholarship, you must be a citizen of the following countries:

- Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland.
- Tanzania, Togo.
- Uganda.
- Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Asian countries:

How to apply
Applicants for the President’s Postgraduate Scholarship are required to complete their application online.
However, there is no need to apply for the College of Science and Engineering Scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered.
If successful, you will be notified when you submit your final results.
Deadline
