RMTF scholarships are one of the awards provided by the Canon Collin Trust. Each year, this organization award numerous scholarships to international students to undertake postgraduate study overseas.
This particular award is available to undertake a postgraduate degree in South Africa in 2024. Depending on your qualification, you could be eligible, especially if your course falls within these study areas:
1. Justice, which includes Climate Justice, Law, Economics and Politics
2. Education policy and practice
3. Humanities, which includes Literature, History, Anthropology and the Arts
What’s in the scholarship?
This scholarship provides funding up to a maximum of two years for Masters and three years for PhD. The scholarship amount range from R20,000 to R100,000 depending on your circumstance.
RMTF scholarship fund both full-time and part-time study as well as distance learning.
Who is eligible
To be considered for a Canon Collins RMTF scholarship, you must:
1. be a citizen of, or have refugee status in, and resident in, one of the following countries:
- Angola,
- Botswana,
- Lesotho,
- Malawi,
- Mozambique,
- Swaziland,
- Zambia
2. have a good first degree (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application.
3. be studying or applying to study at a South African university.
