AGIP postgraduate scholarship in Nigeria and overseas 2022

This scholarship is provided by Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited, Operator of the NNPC & NAE PSC. The company provides these awards annually, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

Application for the postgraduate scholarship is now open for 2022/2023.

But then, its important to mention that the scholarship is divided into two categories:

1. Overseas – for study at a university abroad.

2. Local – for study at a recognized university in Nigeria.

Who can apply?

You are eligible to apply for this scholarship if you:

1. have at least a Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Nigeria.

2. are not more than 28 years of age by December 31st, 2022.

3. have completed your NYSC.

4. have an international passport that is valid for travel at least one year from September 2022 (applicable to overseas category).

5. have been offered admission into a Nigerian university or university abroad for a one-year Master’s Degree programme in any of the eligible courses below.

• Geosciences
• Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
• Petroleum Economics
• Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

How to apply

Application for this scholarship involve two stages. Please follow the steps below.

Stage 1

Below are the documents you need to apply.

i. Passport photograph (450 × 450 pixels) with white background not more than 3 months old.

ii. Admission letter for post-graduate studies (2022/2023) into any recognized university in Nigeria or abroad. This admission letter must be for the course stated in your scholarship application.

iii. Bachelor’s degree certificate

iv. NYSC discharge certificate

v. Valid ID card (Driver’s license, Voter’s card or National Identity card).

vi. Valid International Passport Data Page, if applying to study abroad (Valid for travel at least one year from September 2022).

vii. Birth Certificate from Local government
