2021 Nigeria LNG scholarships for undergraduate students

Application is now open for 2021 Nigeria LNG scholarships for Nigerian undergraduate students.

Current students of Nigerian universities who have achieved academic excellence but have financial need are invited to apply for the LNG scholarship.

Value of this award

Nigeria LNG scholarship is worth a cash sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦150,000) per year for the entire duration of your course.

Can I know more about this scholarship?

i. The scholarship is provided by Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Limited (NLNG).

ii. This scholarship is awarded for undergraduate study only at a Nigerian university.

iii. NLNG scholarships are awarded each year to Nigerian students.

iv. 300 scholarships will be awarded in this 2021 application round.

All undergraduate courses are eligible for funding through this scholarship.

Which Nationalities are eligible?

Nigeria LNG scholarship is open to citizens of Nigeria only.

Who’s eligible?

To be considered for Nigeria LNG scholarships, you must meet the following eligibility criteria.

Therefore, you must:

1. Have obtained at least five credits (including English and Mathematics) at WAEC or NECO in one sitting.

2. Have scored at least 200 in UTME.

3. Be a university student.

4. Currently be a year-one student (be in 100 level). And your first semester year one result (2019/2020 session) must be at least 3.5 GPA.

5. Not be a current recipient of any other scholarship or related in any way to a staff of Nigeria LNG.

How do I apply?

You’re to complete NLNG scholarship application online following the application procedure below.

First, here are the documents required to apply for Nigeria LNG scholarships:

1. WAEC/NECO result.

2. UTME result.

3. School admission letter

4. School ID card.

5. Official 100 level first semester result (stamped and signed).

6. Local government area identification letter (also known as state of origin document).

7. Passport photograph

3. Fill in your personal information.

4. Upload the required application documents.

5. Follow the application instructions.

6. Submit your application.

Deadline

Nigeria LNG scholarship application closing date is Friday 6th November, 2020.
