Delta state students are invited to submit applications for the RENL scholarship scheme in the 2020/2021 academic year.

This scholarship is awarded toward full-time undergraduate study at a Nigerian university only.

What you should know about RENL scholarship

Just before you start an application, please take note that:

i. This scholarship is provided by Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited (RENL).

ii. The RENL scholarship is for registered students in Nigerian universities, polytechnics or colleges.

iii. Moreover, students taking part-time programmes are not qualified for this scholarship.

Eligible Nationalities for this scholarship

The RENL scholarship is open to students from Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.

And only students from the following communities in Ndokwa are eligible:

  1. Umusam;
  2. Etua;
  3. Umusadege;
  4. Isumpe;
  5. Umuseti;
  6. Isumpe and
  7. Umusedeli.

Who’s eligible to apply?

To qualify for this RENL scholarship, you must:

  1. Be an undergraduate student in a Nigerian tertiary institution.
  2. Be a native of the eligible communities above.

How to apply

Submission of application for this scholarship is not online.

Please follow the application procedure below to apply.

Required documents to apply for RENL scholarship

  1. JAMB admission letter.
  2. School admission letter.
  3. School fees receipt for the current academic session.
  4. School ID card.
  5. Local government identification certificate.
  6. Birth certificate or age declaration and
  7. Two (2) passport photographs (any background).

Applicants are required to forward photocopies of the documents above, plus a hand-written letter of application (all enclosed in an envelop) addressed to:

“The Scholarship Secretary, Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited, Udo, Benin City.”

However, the letter of application must be endorsed by the Traditional Ruler of your community or Committee Chairman.

How do I submit my application?

Applicants are required to submit their scholarship application to the Secretary, RENL Scholarship scheme.

Is there a scholarship exam?

Yes.

The aptitude test for RENL scholarship is scheduled to hold on:

Day: Wednesday 21 October, 2020.

Venue: Utagba-uno Rubber Plantation premises.

Time: 10 am.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted latest Monday 30 September, 2020.
