Amelia Earhart Fellowship application has commenced for 2024.
This fellowship is awarded annually and is provided by Zonta International. It is is targeted at women who are pursuing a career in Aerospace Engineering and Space Science.
What does the fellowship cover?
Amelia Earhart Fellowship is valued at US$10,000.
Each year, up to 30 fellowships are awarded to women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences.
According to the fellowship provider, you can hold this fellowship at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields.

Eligibility
Candidates who meet the following criteria can apply for Amelia Earhart Fellowship. The program is open to:
- Women of any nationality pursuing a Ph.D./doctoral degree and
- who demonstrate a superior academic record conducting research applied to aerospace engineering or space sciences.
NOTE:
1. You must be registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program and have completed at least one year of that program or
2. You must have received a master’s degree in an aerospace-applied field at the time of applying.
3. You must not graduate from your Ph.D. or doctoral program before April 2024.
4. Post-doctoral research programs are not eligible for this Fellowship.
5. Club members and individuals with direct membership with Zonta International and employees of Zonta International and Zonta Foundation for Women, and their family members (ancestors, descendants, adoptees, siblings, nieces or cousins, and those of their spouse or co-habiting partner), are not eligible to apply for the Fellowship.
