NECO 2020 timetable is out for SSCE and JSS3 | see exam date

Just at a time when candidates have been waiting eagerly. The National Examinations Council has released the NECO 2020 timetable for SSCE and JSS3 candidates.

This post contains all you need to know about NECO 2020 exam. Stay glued to your phone cause I got you today.

Before we get started, it’s good you know the NECO timetable was released on Tuesday 11th August at the NECO office in Minna.

The NECO Registrar, Prof. Godswill Obioma revealed that the JSS 3 common entrance (also known as Basic Education Certificate Examination) will hold from Monday 24th August, 2020 – Friday 4th September, 2020. Please check with your school for your timetable.

In the same way, the NECO SSCE will hold from Monday 5th October, 2020 – Wednesday 18th November, 2020. Recall that JAMB had earlier said that 2020 Post UTME would end on Wednesday 18th November.

The NECO Registrar also revealed that the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission into Federal Government Colleges would hold on Saturday 17th October, 2020.

That would hold at various exam centers across the country.

Please note the following:

  • You are allowed to bring scientific calculator to the exam hall.
  • If you are taking visual arts, your paper IV must be given to you one week before the exam date. Please request for it from the NECO officials.
  • If you are taking Engineering Craft Practice, Welding and Fabrication, your paper must be given to you three weeks before the exam date. Please demand for it.
  • All the Nigerian language subjects include ‘literature’ in those languages.
  • Officials are directed to give extra 30 minutes to blind candidates and albinos.
