This Africa scholarship is worth £4,500. And its normally paid as a discount on your tuition fee.
Mind you, the university pays these scholarships for only the first year of your Masters degree programme.

Which programs are covered?
According to the award provider, this scholarship covers full-time taught postgraduate courses leading to MSc, MA, LLM, MFA and MRes degrees.
Also, the provider says your course should also the one that is starting by October 2022 and January 2023.
Who’s eligible?
To be able to receive this scholarship, confirm you meet the following criteria set by the scholarship provider.
1. Be an international student planning to sponsor yourself in school. This means you are not currently holding any scholarship.
2. Regardless of your country of origin, be staying in Africa at the time of applying for the scholarship.
3. Apply to University of Essex for master’s degree. The university says that applicants who accept their admission by 16 September 2022 (for October 2022 entry) or 06 January 2023 (for January 2023 entry) and meet the requirement will be considered for these scholarships.
4. Have at least a second class upper (2:1) degree or its equivalent.
How about nationality?
This scholarship is open to students resident in Africa at the time of applying.

According to the University of Essex, the Africa scholarship programme is awarded on the basis of academic merit. Therefore, all applications are considered.
But have it in mind that they also confirm your academic achievement through your transcript while considering application for this award.
