50% scholarship in UK for international undergraduate students 2021

International students interested in studying at one of UK’s top universities in 2021 can take advantage of this 50% scholarship in UK.

This scholarship is available for undergraduate study only.

What’s the value of this award?

This scholarship is worth 50% off your first year tuition fees as an international student.

And its worth £7,500 (£2,500 per year for the first 3 years of your course) for UK and EU students.

NOTE: The scholarship is valued at 50% of your first year tuition. Therefore, you will be required to pay the remaining 50% of their first year fees in two instalments 25% at registration and 25% in December 2021.

Can I know more about this scholarship?

i. This scholarship is provided by University of Leicester.

ii. This award is given under the Citizens of Change 100 Scholarship as part of University of Leicester centenary celebrations.

iii. This 50% scholarship is available for full-time undergraduate course at University of Leicester, UK.

iv. You can accept the Citizens of Change 100 Scholarship in conjunction with other external scholarship.

Which programs are covered?

All campus-based undergraduate courses at University of Leicester are eligible for funding.

Which Nationalities are eligible?

This 50% scholarship is open to international students from any country, as well as UK and EU students.

Who can apply?

To be considered for this scholarship, you must hold an offer to study at the University of Leicester on a full time undergraduate course starting in September 2021.

Successful applicants will need to have made University of Leicester their firm choice.

And remember, this scholarship is for 2021 entry only. So if you defer to 2022, you’ll be considered for the scholarships available for 2022 entry.

How do I apply?

Create a short video (60 seconds maximum) that answers the question:

“What do you want to change?”

The video must be in portrait orientation – Leicester suggests that you use TikTok or Instagram Reels.

Submit your video file or video URL by email to [email protected] along with your student ID (received as part of your offer).

If creating your video on TikTok or Instagram, please tag @uniofleicester and #OursToChange. Be sure to email University of Leicester with your video URL and student ID to ensure entry.

NOTE: The University of Leicester is not looking for filmmaking or acting skills, but instead how you approach the question and what your ambitions to change the world are.

Also, you do not have to appear on screen in the video yourself. And you may also submit your video as part of a group (up to a maximum of 5 people) – so long as at least one of you holds an offer at the University of Leicester.

Therefore, you can get your friends, family and pets involved in this.

When is the deadline?

The official submission period will open on Sunday 14 February 2021, and will run for 100 days, closing by 23:59 on Tuesday 25 May 2021.

Submissions can be received before this period but will only be considered if the applicant holds an offer at University of Leicester and has a valid student ID. For full terms and conditions, please refer to their website.
