ii. These scholarships are awarded under the Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award scheme.

iii. This fully funded scholarship is most suited for international students from impoverished or war-torn areas who have performed academically well under tough circumstances.

And won’t be able to attend university or college without financial assistance.

iv. The Donald A. Wehrung fully funded scholarship is awarded each year to international students who don’t have money to attend university in Canada.

Who’s eligible?

To be considered for the Donald A. Wehrung fully funded scholarship in Canada, you must:

1. Be an international student from outside Canada.

That is, be a student who will require a student visa to study in Canada.

2. Be graduating or have recently graduated from a recognized senior secondary school (high school) in your country.

3. Be applying for your first undergraduate degree.

Therefore, graduates (first degree holders) are not eligible for this fully funded scholarship.

4. Meet the English language requirements to study at University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada.

5. Have performed excellent well at secondary school (achieve A grades or equivalent).

6. Demonstrate leadership potential.

7. Come from a war-torn, politically unstable, or economically disadvantaged country.

How do I apply?

Application for this fully funded scholarship in Canada is completed online.

Furthermore, the application requires you to apply for UBC admission for an undergraduate course.

And though you can apply for two courses at UBC, only your first-choice course will be considered for this scholarship.

So its best you apply to UBC first so that once the scholarship application start, you would be in a strong position to be awarded.
