Can I know more about this scholarship?
i. The Canadian centennial scholarship Fund (CCSF) is awarded every year to eligible students to study for a postgraduate degree in the UK.
ii. This scholarship is awarded to students across several study areas.
iii. Fourteen (14) students were awarded the Canadian centennial scholarship in 2020-2021 round.
Which programs are covered?
These awards are open to students across different disciplines including;
- Science;
- Engineering;
- Social science;
- Humanities;
- Music;
- Creative arts and
- Design.
Which Nationalities are eligible?
CCSF scholarships are open to Canadian students only.
Am I eligible?
To be considered for a CCSF scholarship, you must:
1. Be a citizen of Canada.
Proof of Canadian citizenship is required in the form of a pdf/jpg of your main passport page. You may be asked to bring this document with you if you are shortlisted for interview.
2. Be currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme (or equivalent) at a UK university, college, or conservatoire at the time of applying.
3. Have completed at least one term of study, with at least one term remaining from September 2020.
You are not eligible if you’re taking a one-year programme.
4. Be able to demonstrate academic excellence.
5. Require funds to complete your studies in the UK.
NOTE: Previous applicants of this scholarship may re-apply.
How do I apply?
Application for 2021-2022 scholarships will open at 8:00 Monday, 11th January 2021.
And you’re required to complete your application at the CCSF scholarship application page.
When is the deadline?
The closing date for receipt of scholarship application is 24:00 Sunday, 7th March 2021.
